Thing’s between us were going really well. After a couple of months on consistantly seeing one another, I was introduced to his sons. They were 11 & 10 at the time I met them. They were so quiet except for the youngest who made it perfectly clear to me that he wanted a sibling so he didn’t have to be the little brother anymore. I thought it was adorable but it really took their dad by suprise. I just said maybe some day you’ll have one. I got to know those boys and by knowing them I fell in love with their father even more. I knew I could never mean to him what their mother did at the time but I certainly wanted to make sure that I meant something to him. I fell instantly. It wasn’t easy for me to fall in love with him, but I knew that if he seen me as a temporary thing then I wouldn’t have met his kids. But I was young and had no idea what to expect from this relationship I started with this man. He really showed me a whole new perspective on love. He showed me that there is more to life than just settling for what I was settling for. He showed me a whole different kind of love when I met his boys.
